Samaki means 'fish' in Swahili - Richard spent his childhood in Tanzania before moving to New Zealand.

We also have some interesting 'fish' art works throughout the lodge.

A three course dinner on request with a little notice is $60 per person (including a complementary bottle of wine) - we will discuss the menu with you!
